What to Grow in December (Temperate Climate Australia)

Summer officially starts here on December 1 and the garden is already in full bloom. Cucamelon has started to climb, tomatoes are beginning to blush, I’ve had a few zucchinis so far and the first round of bush beans has been harvested. Eggplants and chillis are lagging behind.

The BOM is still predicting a hot summer despite temperatures along coastal Sydney remaining in the mid to low 20s. I’m starting another round of zucchini and tomatoes as powdery mildew has just started. Here’s what to grow in December, for Sydney’s temperate climate.
