It may have been a slow start to autumn in Sydney’s temperate climate but the last few days have seen a fair share of rain and cooler temperatures. The BOM has been predicting rain up to 60mm on some days but thankfully this part of Sydney hasn’t had a deluge. While eggplants are still producing, cucamelons are still abundant and the odd dwarf tomato is bearing fruit, it’s time to start planting for winter before the temperature drops and the soil is too cold.

Garden Cocktail of the Month: May – Tequila, Pineapple & Jalapeño Shrub Highball
