I’m very excited to announce that I am featured in an article in Breathe Magazine UK by journalist, writer and avid gardener Alice Whitehead.
The article is called ‘Drink me!’ Capture summer’s fragrant flavours with some easy-to-make botanical syrups where I share my tips on making garden-grown syrups and how I use them in cocktails. The article includes a mini interview, tips on growing Vietnamese mint, lemon balm and pineapple sage as well two of my recipes: Sage Syrup and Blueberry and Sage Sloe Gin Collins.
Breathe magazine is described as the ‘original mindfulness magazine’ and a body-and-soul guide to a happier, healthier life. Through its regular sections, wellbeing, living, mindfulness, creativity and escape, it encourages readers to make time for themselves, to achieve relief from stress, increase resilience and find greater happiness.
As much as I would love to share the article, I cannot do so for copyright reasons hence the blurry text. If you’re in the UK, you can read it in Breathe Magazine Issue 48 (not available in Australia). You’ll find the full article on pages 36 to 40.
Thank you to the wonderful Alice Whitehead for the beautiful words and for capturing the essence of my cocktail garden, and to Breathe Magazine UK for having me.
