What to Grow in February (Temperate Climate Australia): a list of vegetables, fruit, herbs, edible flowers and my Garden Cocktail of the Month.
Welcome to the second instalment of ‘What to Grow in…”, a month by month planner on what vegetables, fruit, herbs and edible flowers to grow including some suggestions for varieties to try as well as my Garden Cocktail of the Month to inspire you to turn your garden-grown produce into delicious cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages.
The start of February is usually the time we ask, “where did January go?”, and this is certainly the case in the garden. The weather is usually hot though we’ve had an unusual El Niño summer so far.
We’re getting closer to the start of autumn and the midsummer garden checklist is slowly getting ticked. Now is the time to reap the summer rewards while planning for autumn.
